"Bikers Viaduct continue the fight against the disease."

Christian LE MELLEC and Hugues RICHARD hit the road for a good cause. Our two friends travel to eastern Germany to ten kilometers from the Czech border, a journey 2600Kms round trip by bike to reach the largest winter gathering of motorcycles in Europe: "The gathering of elephants." Winter temperatures (-25 °) make the road and nights in tents rather difficult in the mountains Germans. The aim of this expedition is to get in touch with motorcycle clubs from all over Europe to promote the motorcycle rally in July, with the aim to increase the number of participants and therefore donations for research. Hugues Richard, vice president of the viaduct bikers: "This idea comes from me, we must internationalize our gathering in July. There are already many foreign bikers but it's still a minority. The Germans ride in club and much greater distances, so it is important to meet them. In addition, many nationalities are represented there, we will take a maximum of contacts. We can also add that the extreme conditions of this appointment Germans are a must in life, for all who respect bikers. Christian Le Mellec, president of the bikers of the viaduct, "When Hugh suggested this move at the annual meeting of the club last December, I immediately said that's okay, I'll go with you. The progression of our gathering surely pass by this kind of promotional travel ". Our two friends are sure to keep us informed of their progress through the site of the viaduct bikers. See you on Thursday morning at 27 to 7:30 on the forecourt of the station Séverac Castle for a departure, not now but on two wheels.
